hello all, im new to this site so sorry if i do something wrong ahaha 
basically ive had this problem now about 6 months. The car sometimes cuts out and i have to wait until i hear the fuel pump start so i can continue driving - this can take 2 minutes up to an hour.
i have changed the fuel pump and the transponder aerial but it will continue to cut out every now and again - the car will rev by itself sometimes. when the car cuts out i attach a obd reader and it says a link can not be established.
i see this is a common fault but people dont seem to get to the bottom of it on other forums
all help is appreciated and will inform if it is fixed and how to help other people
could it be a fualty ecu or the icv playing up?
