Vts cooling fan wires

   Hi all looking for help just now I have a mk2 vtr 3 plug car and fitted a 16v single plug engine all ok apart from engine harness has been hacked to bits and plug for the cooling fan the wires come out the back of engine side plug and ding go anywhere so looking how to make my fan work

   Wire the fan to a switch on the dash.

   Did mine recently, yellow was live. Other wires were in the solenoid though.
   
   Run a fused wire from the battery to the switch via firewall, back out again and down to the fan.
   Plenty of suitable earth points, i used one of the carpet bolts.
   
   Just keep an eye on the temperature gauge!!
