#2depends if you are referring to coilovers (adjustable in ride height and shock absorbtion) or just the adjustable dampers.
basically the key advantage is you can set the dampers to a setup you are happy with, one that is catered to YOUR car and how you use it
-
#3but then i dont know many people who have an adjustable kit that actually adjust it, you can adjust front but it means you have to take to a garage each time to set the back
no point -
#4ok cool, well i am wanting to lower it 60mm all round on a full spax suspension kit, any idea how hard the springs are and how much travel they give?? dont think i will be using my car for track that much so should a fixed rate kit be fine to lower 60mm? going mainly for looks aswell!..

#5good point!! i doubt that i will be wanting to adjust the suspension at all once it is fitted but i was just wondering which kit is best when fitting it in the 1st place, to lower it to the exact height you want?
-
#6Work out exactly what you want, then bung that on. Adjustibility is a bit of a gimic, just get the right kit first time round
-
#7why would you need to take it to a garage to get it adjusted?
i have the konis on mine and they are fine, set a bit soft at the min so im going to stiffin the front up this week. -
#10yates i think youve got your wires crossed
-
#12cheers for all replies lads! iv decided to go for a full non- adjustable spax kit!
-
#13oh right. i thought he was on about damping rates.....
