Saxo box won't select 1st or reverse?

   Okay my car went for mapping yesterday and it was a disaster, car won't go into 1st whilst the engine is running. But goes in and out fine when switched off . Also just grinds when trying to select reverse when running but goes in fine when engine is off .
   
   Car goes in all other gears fine , have checked all the linkages and can't Colin's anything wrong
   
   Any ideas ?

   Faulty clutch,just googled it mate.

   Think it may be solved , some idiot has fitted the clutch plate the wrong way around .
