whats the point? it wont keep the A pillars up and there's no harness bars and its not bolted to the floor so that'll bend.

Well,it's a half cage can't pretend too much,should protect the B pillars and part of the roof still,mainly for ashtetics,ease of fitting and economy I suppose being the point,keeping in mind it would be for a road car that might see the odd trackday.

Bit of an extreme case but seems to do its job atleast,bearing in mind a full cage is always preferred but we're discussing half ones.

how many cars hit things backwards ?
all you can say is it a bit better than nothing
it won,t protect B pillars --as it behind them and not attached to them and bolted to floor pan with no load spreading plates up the sills
would not pass an competiton scrutinering inspection -- so waste of time
there is a reason std seats are not bolted to floor --cos it ain,t strong enough

also its not certified so it could be a hit or miss with the welds and design etc...
