Engine loom changed and now won't start!

Hi! So as the title says I had changed the engine loom on my Mk2 three plug vtr due to the fact the previous owner had cut into it in so many places and it was causing problems with shorting out etc, I got another three plug loom out of another vtr I removed myself and put it into mine with no problems at all until I went to start it... Fuel pump wouldn't prime and immobiliser light was flashing, went back round the whole loom and checked numerous times but everything was connected, checked the fuel cut off switch and changed the relay under the ecu with no prevail, lastly I ended up bringing my ecu to get unlocked and I removed my immobiliser from behind the glove box thinking maybe the ecu locked itself but although the immobiliser light is no longer flashing the pump is still not priming! Any ideas? Thanks

check the wire pinout on both old and new loom plugs, try a new relay too.

Tried a new relay, Had a look at the plug and it seems the colours of the wires are in a different order to the original... Nightmare, if I take the pins out of the plug and put them in the same order as my old one should work right?

    in theory yes.

ignore the colours though, look at the numbers.
