i left my car sat for 4 months due to being away, i went to start it yesterday, didnt start so i jump started it, it fired up gave it a little gas, and suddenly there was a puddle of fuel on the floor and the car had emptied itself. i have been to look at it today and found where the leak is coming from. basically rear passenger side, there is a small plastic pipe, and its split and is leaking fuel, not sure what it is. can someone help please.

Probably leaking from where it joins the fuel filter.

The fuel filter pipes have 2 white tabs that needs to be pressed at the same time to take it off,can be quite tough but keep trying and eventually it will come off.

After you've fixed the fuel leak I'd look at the rust on the inner wheel arch too.

you can use a pair of pliers to get the pipe off but I invested in some fuel filter removal pliers, makes the job 10 times easier.

I got mine from ebay about £10 or something.

Lat time I changed a fuel filter I had a cold. I couldn't smell the petrol by nose was that bunged. Best time to do it IMO.

yup, years of working on stuff with your hands, no need for tools, spanner hands!

good squeeze and a wiggle and they're off.

but as mentioned above, a fuel leak is the least of your problems looking at the state of the sill.
