First time on here so please be gentle. :-)
Attempting to replace clutch cable in 51 plate Saxo.
Removed old cable and have strong string through the bulkhead :-)
Old nylon clevis is broken and have attached the new clevis and cable assembly to the string.
Trying to pull it through with no success :-(
Looking at the old clevis it measures 13mm diameter....the new one is 14.5mm diameter..........is this why it wont feed through or is there enough room for the larger diameter?
Can I just reduce the diameter with a file / knife.
Any help would be much appreciated.
