Hey guys, i am a proud owner of a PH1 Saxo 1.6 8v VTR from 99. i love my car and here and there i keep upgrading.

I run at this moment a 4-2-1 manifold with a catalytic converter (i have a catless downpipe), just before my rear muffler a varex valve to run sort of straight pipe and a supersprint muffler,

In how far is it possible with the saxo to do adjustments to make the car backfire on the ecu like shown on this video?
    https://youtu.be/NXdLl9khb9M?t=2m37s

I would like to start learning this so i can adjust it my self and learn the car more better, also if i would do this ofcourse i would keep a backup of the original in case it need's to go back.

    Kind regards

Just fit a straight trough exhaust such as the Saxsport and it will crackle and pop.

only possible to get it make back fires and flames by adjusting ecu ----which is complicated --so welshpug is right -
-NO--also possibility of blowing ex system to bits if you alter the over run fuelling
-ecu cuts fuelling on over run as std
to get flames and things you need to disable that so there is unburnt fuel in exhaust-
only really used on a turbo race car to cool things inside engine --or a badly set-up stand alone ecu could cause it
