Problem with opening the driver side door

    Hello i have a citroen saxo desire that im working on as a fixer upper car/ learning as a first car

    now the car has some problems with it but 1 of them is a driver side door does not open

    ive took the panel off and their is 2 rods inside

    i know that i need a new door handle for the outside as its not even clipping back in but the problem im facing is were do the rods go back into



    this is a photo what i can see inside but on the passanger side door its not the same any help at all as its starting to hurt my brain now lol

    The rod for the door handle is literally right above the hole it needs to be in on the left.

    There is no retaining clip which is what your problem is. the clips look the same on the passenger side you'll see what I mean.
