P0118 fault code (too strong signal temperature sensor)

   Hey i get the P0118 fault code with My scanning too on My Saxo 1.6 vts 8v and It says too strong signal for Temperature sensor. And It shows negative 40 celsius. How to fix this?

   It's brand New. Just fitted it.

   it's brand new faulty then, ask the seller to exchange it.

   Do I think i have bought the wrong One. Since theres some with 2 connectors and One with 3? It's a Saxo 1.6 vts from 2003
