Vts rocker gasket

   Just starting to clean everything after braking down this engine, are the two cam covers just sealed with silicon or are they a rubber gasket? There's not much left to really tell me.

   the original metal covers have a bonded silicon type seal which is not replaceable.
   
   the later JP4 tupe plastic covers are much prefered as they have a replaceable rubber seal, you must use the appropriate screws, buy new ones from a dealer if you dont manage to get them with the covers.

   Bit late to the party but you can buy reusable ptfe gaskets for them on ebay
