Hey guys.
I own a 20 year old 1.1 forte sort of inherited it, owned from new, its getting into its final years, or rather that point where Im not handy enough to do any repairs so costs start to add up.
Not driven much through lock down, once every other week, was planning on part exchanging this year then covid19 shut up shop and, then I go and find a dark oil blob just off centre on the drivers side.
Serviced yearly mid-June. Last MOT was January failed on a few things for it's age, nothing oil related was picked up on then.
Attached a few pictures taken from shoving my hand underneath the car basically, the angles are not great sadly as car is currently in my garage.

I honestly barely know what Im looking at, wondered if someone could give me a heads up on what/where it might be?
It has dripped slightly onto the timing belt which I know is bad, it seems to be coming from above the drive shaft/cv joint that goes into the gearbox? And coming from just above at the rear of the engine block? Again, no idea what Im looking at really.
Ive lost no engine oil, but Ive not driven it much.
Thinking about wiping off the oil where its collected and then maybe taking it out for a drive, but super concerned about the timing belt now, seems to be all outter belt and its splattered a bit off but can't see any specs on the teeth bit of the belt.
Thanks
