Saxo VTS, idle trouble/smoke around MAP sensor

   Hi you lot,
   So the car's had trouble idling from cold since I can remember but would idle after a good few cranks.
   
   Been tinkering today and just can't get it to idle, it cranks and sounds like it wants to run.
   
   I've then noticed smoke coming from the general MAP sensor/fuel rail area, won't crank now.
   
   Any and all advice would be much appreciated, cheers!

   Where are you based? Do you have access to diagnostic?

   North west London. No Lexia, but a Delphi clone.

   Really should order one though since we've got a C2 Code and Peugeot 307 too.

   Any advice on specific Lexia? Seems to be a few variants.
