I have a W reg VTS - reg date 24/03/2000 - it has the standard exhaust manifold with the cast iron top part with the lambda sensor fitted and the twin steel down pipes going under the engine . It was fitted with a straight through pipe and rear box only when i bought it so it was very noisy and i cannot see how it passed an MOT - although it had one ? I am going to keep the manifold and revert to a standard set up , i have bought a VTS rear box and i now need the cat and centre box . There is a surprising number of different cats for the saxo with lots of different fitment dates , OBD or not , lambda or not , type approved or not , overall length , and i was hoping for some guidance . My lambda is in the manifold so obviously i need a cat with no threaded hole , a BM catalysts BM90050 seems to fit the dates . Will need a centre section as well . Any advice please .

#2Depends on what the straight through and rear box are made of.
If the rear box is a "standard" fitment, then you'll need cat plus centre section. The distance from the manifold flexi flange and the rear box is the same on all models.
Don't worry about the lamdba sensor hole on the cat, just buy a lambda blank plug for a few quid to block the hole.
