HeLLLP.. furio water pump leak

    I'll keep it simple. Water pump started leaking down onto the timing belt.
    Took it to garage replaced water pump. Worked fine for a couple hours then. Temp goes up. Heaters stop workin temp goes into red. Fxxxked . Took back to garage ..
    Fixed for 24hours ish and it's leaking again from same spot. Doin my head in now. Any ideas on what it could be kuz the pump has been replaced. Maybe the belts too tight. ? I dunno

    If the pump is leaking, your garage is shit.

    Can guarantee they didn't bleed it properly either.

    Usually a belt thats too tight will whine as it loads up the bearings on the tensioners etc.

    Where is it leaking from? If it's coming from the spindle, then that water pump is goosed.

    Thanks for the reply mate. Not sure exactly where it's coming from but it's pissin out quite bad down onto the timing belt . And yeah it's not the best garage. Good job I ain't paid them yet. Don't think I'll be going there again.. whats the best quality water pumps like valeo or similar? Not that Cheng shin repo shite�� might just buy one myself and have it fitted so I know it's not made from cheese.
