Silencer

    Has anyone had there silencer cut out of the pipe after the cat but before the backbox, ???

    know vtr has 1 coz i've got that exhaust stashed in garge but a dont think i ad one on 1.0 tbh. but if it did its gone now wi new exhaust

    Nono, I have a Ashley Comp Exhaust System and in the pipe after the De-cat the Center Pipe i have a silencer. So in my cat back ssytem i have 2 silencers, i want 1 removed, how much would a garage charge me?

    shouldn't really charge much just remove it and replace it with a straight bit of pipe.for a straight bit of pipe welding on mine it was £15 ,is it s/s?

    mine was mild that cost £15. it was just to replace a piece of damaged pipe so it should'nt be too much really mate

    I got it booked into TopGear now, They want £60 to replace the silencer and stop the blowing..

    CampDavid does your friend happen to have a 4" ashley backbox, ill swap him for a 3"
