mates from forums in croatia found this guy in bosnia who is remapping ECU's for low cost.
it's 200€ for my xsara (just for orientation, 150€ for saxo vts) minus discount for group buy.
i dont know if they are trustworthy, because they're so cheap (same job costs minimum 250€ in zagreb with discount for group buy).
i searched their webpage, and they say they have 10 years of experience with ECU remapping

the other thing, my car has crossed over 145.000 km's, but it's in good condition. i'm worried about the turbo overheating and blowing into the engine screwing everything up (because of the high mileage)

oh, and i'll probably replace my car next year, by the summer.

what would you do? remap or not?

Try and find someone who has had work done by them, they'll be able to tell you if they are trustworthy or not.

there's this action by citroen. they take my "old" xsara and give me new c4
i must look into some calculations, and maybe replace the car.
if not, i'll probably be getting that remap done

Find a "Contact" section on the website and ask the people who do the work if they can give you contact details of people who've had the job done already. Get in touch with them and ask what they think of the job.
