Lowerin front?!

   my 1.1i saxo is sittin on 15"s and i want to lower it
   
   the front looks like pick up truck, however the back is already low enough and rubs if got full load.
   
   can i jus lower the front and would it affect the drive in anyway?
   
   anyone elses car like this? some old person had car before me so dont think they would have messed with the springs...

   jus buy some springs, maybe shockers to depending on how low you wanna go and have them fitted.

   well i presume so cos the back you cant see top of tyre and the front is a good 40 - 50 mm above the wheel, looks weird and handles like a bag of shit

   yeah, just 2 springs. thats all you get in a spring kit. if its an old person thats had it and hasnt touched the sus like you say then i would suspect something is wrng for the rear to sit that low.

   it doesnt have springs on the rear.
   torsion bars and dampers.

    i very much doubt its the torsion bars have worn enough to make it sag but it could be a possability.
    if the dmapers are fooked then that could also make it sag.
    is it just 1 side or both?
    does it make any funny noises?

    both sides, only really amkes noises when got peeps in back and scrapes against the arches

    check your dampers to see if they are leaking any oil.

    This is mine with the front lowered only (not through choice I must add) but the handling suffered and the back end skipped about in the corners so I wouldn't advise it and it doesn't look to clever.

    it usually will rub on the rear standard
    
    i got a good deal on springs for my 1.1

    my 1.1 is lowered 60mm front and 80mm rear
