As above really, what would you gain from fitting this to a vtr?
cheers, Al

you would have transoformed throttle response and it gives quite a bit more low down torque too. i did my vts t/b and its made an awsome difference IMO. but thats just me. iv put one on ebay off a 98 vtr at the moment. strting bid of 12.99. just done 3 vts ones and a 106 gti one too. thats in the last two days! the 16 v ones have allready sold though.

to be honest i wouldnt know for sure. but have a look at yours. look at what the sensors look like and where they are positioned and also look what the throttle arm lloks like.(the arm that the throttle cable links too). if the look the same then i dont see why it wouldnt work!!

Hi spencer_cammedvts
Can you go abit more into detail about the polishin?
I polish the entrance to the throttle body once amonth with metal polish to keep it clean and in the hope the air will move abit freely. I take it its bit more envoled than that :-)
Thanks

yes mate i completely bore it out mate. take about 1.5mm off the t/b wall all the way round then grind off the big lip at the top, and blend in the step/wedge before the butterfly. then i polish it out mate.

Nice, Ive got a couple of things to sort out for the VTS's MoT at the end of October but once Ive sort the Mot I be in contact cos that really does sound a well planed out mod.
Top stuff. Just checked out your eBay item and have printed it all off so like I said end of October I'll be in contact. :-)
