Rear discs on axle

   Is it possible to take a VTR/S rear axle off with the rear discs and put them on my 1.1i.
   
   If so what sort of labour would be involved and at what cost. Just wana get a rough idea of the price.

   you can either use the stub axles or just swap the entire rear axle, the latter being the easiest. not sure why you want to though unless you plan an engine transplant as the rear brakes only do 10-15% of the braking so you wont really notice a considerable improvement in terms of braking performance.
   
   cost- axle, 150-200 from breakers plus couple of hours labour.

   Just prefer the look of rear discs mainly LOL
   
   are you saying you can just switch the end bits on the axle?

   yes you can but if you're just doing it for looks then i wouldn't bother wasting the money to be honest
