westy loosing power, thats if it had any! lol

   hi
   when i got my westy last year as we do we see what it can do and it did 115mph flat out.
   
   since then i've fitted alloys 195/45/15
   full s/s powerflow exhaust
   k&n panel filter.
   
   it seems to feel stronger mid range but the top speed has dropped off when it reaches 95mph i really drags now.
   
   i don't make a habit of driving that fast just now and again, just it seems a bit odd!
   
   any ideas?

   wat age is it? could be engine wear loss of compression or somthin if its been abused or has done lots of miles, try leaning your filter, if its annoying you so much buy a vtr 1.6 engine you can pick them up cheap enough and they basicly fit straight in, or if your engine seems to be ok try set of fast road cams and a remap these wil bring the life bac to your sax wit a bang!
