1.1 to VTR

   right might be able to get my hands on a VTR engine very soon. As my mate has a VTS engine to put in his. Just need to know what is needed to do the swap?

   If you putting a VTR in a 1.1 i think you would need the same as putting a VTS engine in a VTR but dont quote me on that Heres a list of the stuff your'll need,
   
   ecu, key, barrel, transponder, engine and loom, geerbox

   would keep 1.1 gearbox. would i need a new barrel and key aswell?

   Thats not a major point just another option. I think as far as that goes the Major bits you will need is the Engine, ECU, Loom.

   engine,possibly a gearbox,wiring loom,ecu,transponder,key,manifold. rough guide anyway!

   one of the mods has done a 1.1 to VTS but not sure which one!! oh and you will need to upgrade brakes aswell!

   Well uprated brakes is just advised lol, otherwise with all that power you might have trouble stopping hehe

    engine wont matter, its wiring that has the differences.

    Its MK2 mate. 1.1 51 reg. Been offered a MK1 VTR engine though. will this make any difference?

    you will need the 3 plug loom.
