best sounding exhaust

   I no every1 has different opinions and taste but whats the best sounding exhaust system for a westcoast? heard ashley or sportex are meant to sound loud but nice?

   I cant say regarding a Westcoast, but i personally hate powerflow and custom sounds.
   Hate blarrring japan sound wanabee's
   Prefer the sound of a quiet exhaust with the cat removed, nice little rumble but louder when you open the car up (not that i would know )

   I got a sportex back box on my westcoast and sounds just rite , and sounds best in high revs , Ill try and get a video when i get my car bk from workshop

   I love Ashley's, Powerflow, Peco's - They all sound great.

   Exhaust sounds are definately personal preference... i have a piper 4" slashcut on my furio (1.4) and i think it sounds great...
   
   I don't like really loud exhausts though, i like a low rumble and when you give it some welly it roars...
   
   I made a thread with a video of my piper backbox here so you can see what you think of the sound...

   Custom imo just give a typical boy-racer sound. Roar as soon as you turn the keep, and sound like wet fart when they drive past.
   You will have to let us know how you get on.
   
   Throttle Bodies and Pugsport Exhaust would be my fantasy!

    This is going to be a low blow i know but... at least the exhaust will match your Sig Josh
    
    Only messin with you mate, just not keen on loud exhausts, they make so much noise no matter what you are doing. Driving you Nan to the hospitial (just for example) imagine that! (plus she is having er i dont know an ear ache or something lol)

    Haha i see your point, Yea i like exhausts with a note on them so you dont have to hit 4000 rpm to even hear it, Everyones to their own.

    Hi there ppl, im new to the Saxo modding scene but i am looking at making my 1996 1.0 mischeif sound as good as possible. I have already fitted an induction kit but i am really looking at an exhaust. Which type would make the best sound for my car? I have heard that 'cherry-bomb' type exhausts are good but also that straight through systems are good. I basically want the deepest rumble i can get from a 1 litre!!!! Thanks

    i have a peco one on at the moment. gets a little noisey at 4k really. sounds alright around 3k and under though.

    if you want loud dont go for skorpion, still excellent exhausts tho

    I had a twin powerflow on my old car, loud as fook!
    I think now that I have a quieter exhaust on my new car, i like it better than the loud one..
