Or is a green inclosed a better option?
Anyone know if DP Motorsport is a reputable place?
    Cheers

thought they were about half the price, must have been the old ones.
if i was choosing id go with the green, or just panel filter and save some money

your paying that much for a simota??

    Be-warned

Before you part with your cash Take a look at how the scoop draws its cold air . . . The scoop bolts flush to the slam panel and is only feed through two very small holes in the slam panel. I run a green Ram Air filter and have been very disapointed with it overall.

If you are lookin for a enclosed filter go BMC. Talk to anyone who has fitted one and they will choose it over a scoop anyday.

no they wont, i have a simota/green filter and put a BMC on last week. its coming off tonight as it seems to choke the engine at high revs.

good stuff :Y: i read sumwhere once about a test on a nova gsi using the standard drilled airbox and aftermarket type cone custom fit inside and it gave an increase of 13 hp on the rollers i think

agree with the slam panel bit. i have a huge procomp scoop but the amount that could shoot in wouldnt. angle grinder sorted.

Wow Rolling Road Test. G8 idea :-)

See if any one will lend you a open cone just to see how a open cone fairs against 2different approaches that cost twice as much.

    Top bloke - Ive just Rep'd U :-)

right lads, the simota gave better gains, but, if used with the samco from the BMC it would be better as it has a bigger radius bend to it.
