which engine hosing for induction?

    hi
well because i'm a student can't afford a bmc and don't wanna go with an open induction, so gonna replace the feed to my airbox, got a k&n panel in there.

was wondering though apart from samco which is a tad expensive anyone know any good piping to use, and would this idea actually work?, my idea was wider diamaeter more air.
as the standard plastic air feed pipe narrows half way up.

i have full s/s powerflow exhaust + got a magnex de-cat on order.

    cheers.

i think halfords sell rubber piping, not 100% sure.

U could nip to B&Q or somewhere like that and just pick up some insulated or aluminium piping cheapish, to replace the whole intake feed upto the airbox (i think thats what u want to do)

local engineering place with a pipe bender should be able to sort you with some thin sweet, i got one bent and polised for mine for £20!

Failing that a custom Exhaust place will bend you abit of Exhaust pipe to fit a induction kit for you. A custom Exhaust place mite be more willin to do the work rather than a engineerin shop but wat you got to lose, ask.

Post some pics if you have anythin done
