   Just had a full stainless steel system fitted piper 3.5 , now when its stood still i can hardle tell i have puta new exhaust on etc . please tell me it gets louder as im not happy at all .

   piper are quiet exhausts, if you wanted noise should have gone for a sportex or a custom.
   
   Exhausts bedding in ais alot of crap IMO , they sometimes get quieter but not louder

   piper quiet??? will take time to bed in and get that deep burble but in terms of sound, piper is louder than scorpion and magnex so be glad you didnt get them :

    darrly dont no if it beds in but it certian does not reach its sound for a few days aleast

    I got a Magnex system fitted couple of weeks back. Was slightly disappointed cos it seemed quiet but when it gets hot, and when I rag the arse off the car, it sounds mint.
    
    I'm chuffed cos I don't wanna drive through town sounding like a boy-racer idiot, but can get a well nice noise from it when I want to!

    Did you not read the big disclaimer card that comes with a piper exhaust explaining that they know their exhaust's are quiet when new... they take a couple of long motorway trips to fully bed in... i promise you it will get a lot louder...
    
    This is just a piper backbox on a furio and it now sounds a fair bit louder than this... Linky

    that isnt loud atall! You should hear a sportex system or a ashley!! If you wanted sound you have gone for the wrong system but they do look lovelly nether the less

    i guess its personal views i think sportex sound stupidly loud like a wet fart but still its done now

    It will definately get louder, had more exhausts than i can remember and everyone of them has got louder

    Mines a powerflow full system and gets louder when the engine is fully warmed up (about 10-15 mins). Put it this way at 70mph when i plant the throttle i can hardly hear the music! It's fucking deafening so give it time mate!

    i have a magntex single box with a cat by pass burbels at low revs and roars at high revs i would defo go for one again

    De-cat it mate, that will make it a bit louder. Give it time mate it will be fine.
    
    Sportex exhuasts are shit imo.

    I would only buy a Piper or Magnex and IMO the piper is very loud.
    
    Craig had one on his furio and even without the de-cat pipe it was pretty loud.

    give it time to bed in like others have said and then make your decision. i have recently had a longlife exhaust fitted to my coupe and its just starting to bed in properly after about 300 miles.
    
    when i had the same system on my saxo it sounded sweet after a month or so.
