Turboing a vtr

#2gm cor carworks depends how deep your pockets are and how much power u want, remember u gotta get better brakes, clutch etc
bout 5k for a good 1 -
#3sounds gd
will have to save for a good few months lol and a job would help 2
-
#4its always a good start to have a job if your after a 5k turbo convesion
-
#5I'd love to turbo mine, would have to convert to a VTS first though
-
#6you wanna turbo you vtr. bags of torque youll be laughing.
-
#7Would it be better to turbo a VTR realistically?
Was only thinking of changing the engine because mine is up to 70,000miles -
#8The vtr's have better torque like already mentioned but personal opinion and I think many would agree that it would be better to turbo a vts as the advantages and gains would be greater.
-
#9they eventually would be greater, depends how much power you want and how much you have to spend. no point having shed loads of power when you cant get it down. id prob chose a vtr, it will still have loads of power, maybe a bit more controllable aswell.
-
#1070,000 miles aint much, aslong as you keep it cool then ull b fine on that
-
#11wood it really cost around 5k for a decent turbo
-
#12yes for a DECENT one, you can get them done as cheap as 2k from some places, but if you read around yo will see, you get what you pay for! remember 5k covers parts, labour (biggest cost), mapping, etc, etc. but as said above, you will need to upgrade oter parts such as brakes, etc too!!!
-
#13deff gotta do brakes and that u cant mess about with them thinkin it will be ok, u need to stop else ull look like a crused coke can, or srite can depending on your car colour lol
