How much can u lower the front without replacing the shocks?

   I have a 98 1.0l, how low can i go without replacing the shocks?

   Well if you ask Citroen and most people they will say about 35mm max before you put too much strain on std shocks, however my VTR was down 40mm and me vts is down 60mm on std shocks , but any lower than 35mm and you are seriously reducing the life of the shocks

   Mines about 80mm on std shocks and they are wrecked
   
   I'd get uprated of shocks if i were you, at least for the front!

   If you can afford it obviously get shocks but if not u can run it on springs for a while

   ive run mine on std for over a year , not problems yet

   Im going to post some next week cos hopefully me coilovers and wheels will be fitted, but yes I ran std shocks for over a yr on me vtr

   id like to say why would you want to do that? upgrade shocks if you are going to drop the suspension
