Change of Induction

After fittin a Green RamAir Induction Kit (cone ina Scoop) aweek after I bought my VTS I was very unimpressed with the overall performance and more importantly Quality of the item for the price.

Im buyin a Peugeot 106GTi Induction kit off eBay which looks like a K&N Gen2 kit with a kind of heat shield with a penin for a cold air feed.

As soon as it turns up and it is fitted I'll post some Pic's and let you know about fit & performance.

Oh yes 100 posts! Look out now Ive got 2stars I can take over the World ! ! !

If you got 2stars in McDonlds they let you take home the burgers you drop on the floor after youve finished!

Is it the Green enclosed you had? I thought they were mean't to be pretty good as the Citroen Rally team run them on their Saxo rally cars.

But keep us posted as Im interested to see a Gen 2 kit actually on a car!

the green enclosed is way better than the k&n gen 2 kit. just looked at a pic of it and the k&n is an open filter- the 'heatshield' will do fuck all it'll still suck in hot air.

as sean said that shield is gonna do nothing you might as well the gen 1 thats alot cheaper. have a look at the KnN typhoon kit.
also what were you expecting its only an induction kit

I dont think they do a typhoon kit for a saxo...

get bmc cda, took the cold air feed off mine the otherday and its so sluggish when you pull away from a juction so i put it back on again.

didnt think mcdonalds did stars anymore because is unfair to favour peole and a form of discrimination or summin

In my experince the car seems 2hold back sometimes wen I try and pull away hard from a standing stop also wen I get round to about 5000 5500 the car sometime seems to hold back so Im gona see how a open cone compares.
My VTS is runnin a Janspeed Heat wrapped 421, Sports Cat and Cat Back system (All Janspeed). Wana test both filters on the road & maybe on rollin road 2.

I can always fit the Green back.

Im not one too follow the crowd so, I have nearly bought a BMC but always seem to find somethin better to spend £200 on :-)

definately. add 150 on that 200 youve got some cams.
williamsvts just had his on the rolling road with bmc and a simito with green filter inside and the simito performed better
