street specials center console?

   hey up
   
   i've thought about removing my centre air vent and fibre glassing a couple of guages in there myself, then i remembered about the street specials (i think its called that) centre console.
   
   i've searched google, and the site here, but cant find details or pics anywhere.
   
   does anybody know what i mean and where i can get details?
