Questions about Hispec brake kit documentation

  1. #1
Hi, im a Saxo VTS 16V owner from Norway.
And im having some problems getting my car aprooved because of lack of documentation on my Hispec Billet 4 brake kit.

So im posting here in hopes of that someone can help me.

Have tried Hispec motorsports and GMC motorsports, but neither seems interested in answering my emails.

I need some documentation that says that this brake kit is made for the saxo/106, like a TÜV Documentation or something from the manufacterur.
I think it would also work with a copy of a Single vehicle approvement or a MOT Test of a saxo/106 that has theese brakes fited and is approved with them.

I know. My car is in a german garage at the moment, I'm hoping they don't look at all my non TUV parts!!Try also asking on www.saxosportsclub.com as they may be able to help. You could always just get the car cirtified on standard brakes then swap the calipers on after?

Im thinking of doing it, but i have gotten all the other mods approved, and they have never made a fuss about the brakes before...
But the last time i went for our answer to your MOT Test, they toatly freaked out on the brakes.

So thats why im hoping that i can get some sort of documentation, so i dont have to worry in the future.

I have been in contact with them regarding sending me http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/caliper_spares.htm
But there seem to be some problem, for i placed the order in June, and i havent received anything yet.
It seems to have gotten lost during shiping.
That`s the second time it has happened, so they wont send me another set before they can figure out whats going on.

    Hi Erik how are you?

Yes its very irritating what happened the shipping to your address. We still have no idea and Hi Spec are struggling to locate any tracking information them selves.

On the information side of things I have a close relationship with Roy and Fiona at Hi Spec. Sadly Richard left for other things ealier in the year though.

Any information required about Hi Spec products please email me and i will do my best to get the answers required.

I am going to look into the TUV documentation etc as this is something we have not had to worry about before. Sounds interesting and like the rules in your country are far to tight!

    Thank you
