I've just bought a new anti roll bar (standard vts one) and i put polyflex bushes on there. and i've got some front suspension arm bushes to put in aswell. can notice a little difference, but not much, better to replace them all i think. Looking into getting some uprated engine mounts too.

Go onto the Citroen Saxo bit on here Matt:

Thats the list of pretty much all the bushes you can get. If your definatly going for track time I would go for as many as you can. I got all of em waiting to be fitted for mine.

well sat in my garage i have a blistein suspension kit, lower and upper strut brace, custom springs on the way, going to ring up a few places this afternoon see if they have any GTi 24ARB's, so after bushes to add to my little pile, il get them fitted for xmas

Can i ask why you got a new VTS ARB when the GTi one is better?

Because my other one was bent. i thought they were both the same arb's??
  8. #8
Nah, supposedly the GTi is 24mm and the VTS is 21mm as far as im aware, as i was looking into getting a 25mm arb and CampDavid told me about the GTi one, was gona ring a few places this afternoon see if i can get my hands on one

  10. #10

powerflex bush's are supposed to be good a choice, i have the powerflew bush'es on my wishbones that bolt up throught the footwell but thats its, i like them i had trouble with my old bush's wearing quick, but had no trouble with these
change your droplinks for some biltein 1's whilest the strus are off too mate
  12. #12
Is it worth changing droplinks? never ever heard that before...
  13. #13
well if your struts are due to come off and you are going to use it for the track or rag it either 1 then id say yeah, as the standard droplinks sometimes tend to knock when lowered, and the bilstein 1's are cheap enough and stopped the knocking that occured on my car after it was lowered, so id say go for it, others may disagree however

My Coilovers being fitted this weekend , and I have a full front and rear powerflex kit so Ill let you know if it any good, although its abit of an unfair test as the coilovers should make it better anyway

they make the difference round tight bends where they limit the flexing.
