   Just found a nice little tuning garage in teeside the place is called automark and they located in stokesly, i just got a price for them to do a rolling road ecu remap on my car and the price was very good i would say, he quoted me £295+vat wich is probably about a couple of hundread less than chipwizards as i was quoted from them £450 plus vat, so i quized the guy in the workshop and made sure he wasnt gonna stick a superchip in the car and he actually was intending to set it all up on the rolling road seemed to know what he was talking about and knows of chipwizards and said they have a similar map they use so he filled me with plenty of confidence, anyway people just a heads up that there is another decent place to get remaps done and at a excellent price.

   chipwizards don't just stick a map on your car, they tweek it for that car. I would pay the extra for wayne. Also you get a 10% discount from CW

   yeah i just explained that they will be setting it up on the rolling road there for tweaking bits and peices timing etc was all explained to me but a bit long winded to post so tried to keep it short and sweet the guy seemed to know that wayne he said his name before i could come up with it. plus if i go to chip wizards theres an added exspense of travel these guys are like a ten minute drive from my house

   I pressume they cover every aspect of garage work mate they looked well kitted out and had a very nice rolling road and tuning facilities i think im gonna get a few bits and pieces done by them but they taking bookings a few weeks in advance i couldnt get booked in till november

   id personally pay the extra 100 quid just just for peace of mind. as many people have used wayne, but its your choice. i take it he has mapped saxo's before?, and ask him what gains they saw?

    Agree. Wayne's map on my car is superb. I've seen enough poorly mapped cars to take the safe option

    How much bhp can u be looking at with a 4-2-1 manifold, K&N gen 2 Induction Kit, de-cat, exhaust, Piper 285 and then a remap from waynes??

    160brake on a VTS. ish. Though get a better induction kit. Don't know on a VTR.
    
    All pub figure balls anyway. mine drives well, has great ecconomy and I've not seen many quicker. That's what matters

    Well i made my own induction kit, i bought a uni air filter, got powerflow to make me a bit of pipe and my m8 made me an induction kit out of it.. He used the fogs as air feeds..

    my point is that chipwizrads are recomended becasue they are good. that other place that does it cheaper isnt known, figure the rest out.

    Not sure i didnt think what you were getting at until reading back into the posts, So back to my original question, what bhp am i looking with
    4-2-1 manifold
    magnex de-cat
    powerflow exhuast
    Customised induction kit (K&n genII) with 2 air intakes,
    Piper 285 (dont have yet)
    Re-map (dont have yet)
    
    So with that what am i looking at on my Vtr mk 2

    that sounds like a chip to me, with a before and after RR. for a proper remap you car will spend its whole time there on the rollers.

    This is the place I mentioned before which David and Williams didnt beleive excisted. My mate used them and said they were very good.
