#2I have a Nissens aluminium rad in my vts after the old one literally blew up on the motorway! They are miles better than standard ones. Engine temp stays significantly lower than standard and with it being ally doesn't corrode like the standard ones either. And it looks nice!
You can buy them on ebay:

Hope that helps -
#3I replaced my VTS rad not long after I got it and it was in a bad shape but only really found how bad it was untill I fitted my induction kit.
I bought mine from europarts, think thats a ali but not sure. I now I pay'd more than that tho. So I reckon can't go wrong plus you've got the added bonus of sax180 recommending it.
Don't forget to replace the theromstat (under a tenner main dealer) and Rad Cap as not all new rads come with new caps! Watch out for Air Locks when you 1st start drivin after fittin the Rad. Temp will shoot up and Heater will blow Cold air on full Heat so keep ur eye on it.
:-) Rep me if Im of Help and I will do the same :-) -
#4Oh, if you are lookin to do any track days why not take the chance while its all out to fit a second fan in the empty place with a switch so wen you on the track and need that little extra you've got it :-)
Could also be handy in heavy traffic too
