engine conversion

   whats the story with engine conversions and insurance. i have a mk1 vtr and wouldnt mind putting a mk1 vts engine in it. how do u go about insuring that, do u insure it as a vtr or vts.
   
   how would the insurance people even know unless they stripped the engine?

   the engines look completely different. i will do it for £150 + petrol.

   i know where there is an engine going for £450. hasnt get inlet mani though. you could try tam on ssc, he normally has plenty.
