I have a saxo mk2 but I'm thinking of removing the spoiler and fitting an mk1 spoiler. I know it should be bolted and bonded on, but if I were to just use bond would it hold it?

#2hey m8 i have a mk2 with a mk1 spoiler, didnt bond it, bolted it threw my tailgate, and stuck rubber gromits in the exsiting spoiler holes in the glass!!

#3I know bolting would be the best option but I wanted to try and avoid this, I drilled holes on my previous car for a spoiler and it took a lot of time and effort as I don't have the best tools for the job... Would be a lot easier if I could just bond it on.

#4i must say it is a pain in the ass, not to bad makin the holes its getting your tools in. bonding it on aint to bad but its more lyable to theft

#5Good point, I never thought about theft. I was thinking about it just falling off! I'm watching ebay just now for a spoiler the same colour as my car so once I get it I'll decide what I'm going to do.

#6Just a thought, if I'm only bonding the spoiler on what do I use to hold it in place while it's bonding? Would tape be enough or do I need some sort of clamps or what?

#7stand there holding it for a few hours lol.
