Brake Master Cylinder

  1. #1
i have been told that my brakes are not releasing on my front left and back right wheels which are causing the brakes discs to get very hot and its because of my brake master cylinder. Anyone else had this problem? is it worth getting a new brake master cylinder and doing a rebuild on mine. I have a 99 VTS with hi-spec 285mm 4pot kit.

    Cheers

get a 2nd hand one. cheaper then a new one, and not really that hard to fit, especially if ur handy with tools yourself.

got a 206 gti 180 one. loass better. it has seen 15k miles (second hand).
£35 ono posted. should be able to provide pics.
also the pedal pressure is better as its a larger cylinder and the brakes work better as more fluid enters the pistons.
