Fitting 165/65/R14 tyres on VTR alloys?

   I may have found some VTR alloys a good price and thinking to fit on my Furio...just wondered If I will be able to fit my orig 165/65/14 in excellent condition on this alloy wheels.
   
   Can someone advice ?

   they might just be able to expand enough but they will be stretched to there absolute maximum, safer to use the existing 185/55 tyres or buy some new ones

   Better be safe than sorry...yeah ?
   Is that true that with 185/55/14 tyres improve accelleration but decrease max speed because of their slightly smaller diameter Vs 165/65 ?

   i think thats right cant be bothered with the maths just now got enough studying to do
   
   but the actual difference is minimal on those sizes and you probably wouldnt notice it on the road
