mines lowered on eibachs at the front, about 50mm on standard shocks, not had any trouble yet (after 4-5 months, but i'm gonna upgrade to the pro dampers next year) it's lowered about 40mm - 50mm at the back at the moment until it gets taken down another notch on the torsion bar.

so even if i lower it 50mm then they wont damage the standard shockers?? i wanna go 50mm but dont wanna have to keep replacing hte shockers

They wont last as long and the ride may be pretty rough.

so what would u recoment on standard shockers for the max performance out of them?

I'd get a decent set of springs (Eibach or H+R) and keep it around 30-40mm on standard shocks.

My Impreza didn't take to kindly to a 50mm drop on Standard shocks but it would depend on the condition of the shox etc....

So what's being said in the topic is, if you lower the car by 50mm you will need to get new shocks as well? Any suggestions?

i'm on 60mm springs for over a year and no problems and passed 2 mots without any replacment parts

you'll be ok or your shocks may take a bit of damage
40mm is sposed to be fine on standard stuff tho, its just the shocks MAY wear out quicker than they would if they were uprated, but then again some suspension kits are shite and about as much use as the standard stuff
