Just Can’t get the staff

   Mechanic Mate came round on sat. With no dis-respect to him, What he did with my fuel line was CRAP!!! He tried to say that you could not get rubber hose through the gromet in the bulkhead. He tried to repair the leak in the pipe with a joint, which he poked through the bulkhead. He also had to go before the job was done, so I finished the job and turned on the engine.
   
   Guess what, The shabby joint leaked. AAAAARGH.
   
   
   
   I decided I was going to replace the whole lot with some nice re-enforced rubber fuel hose, So I did today. It took me five attempts and a lot of WD40 but I got it through the bulkhead, behind the sound deadning. had to remove seat/carpet and clipped it in place, then sleeved it over the joint in the bodywork that goes to fuel filter. Put everything back and cranked the beast over. Phew, no leaks and a big grin from doing such a satisfying job myself <img src= "smileys/happy.gif">
