vts looms <- PLEASE help if you got a vts

   hi guys jsut a quick question for people who have saxo vts's.
   
   jsut got myself a gti engine and need a loom... problem is that the loom that i need is the 2 plug type.
   
   i know that the phase 2 vts looms are the 1 plug type connector (tennis ball shape), but i was wondering and asking to all the guys/gals on here who own a vts mk1, can you please tell me if your loom is a 2plug?
   
   if yes please state the year and reg, as my friend says only a T reg vts loom will work.. but i'm sure S, R, and P reg vts are also 2 plug looms..

   I assume you are talking about the non-ecu end of the loom???
   
   My 99VTS is a single plug on either end.. ecu and near the battery tray.
   
   I replaced my loom a number of years ago. The newer loom I got had the wrong connector at the battery tray end... so I cut and shut the loom to the original plug. This is something that Ive known a lot of people do when replacing engines, etc. In my case, both ends were circular in shape... but didnt match.

   ive got a 2plug Loom of a GTI. Will trade you if u have a single. i need a single plug loom!

   lol well if you can wait around till i get mine u can have it but till then i need a vts loom T reg,
   
   well a vts T reg is a 2 plug at the battery/engine side of the bay and thats what i need.

    the Furio loom wont do it as my VTR loom is sigle plug!
    
    the GTI and VTS loom will be different as there are more plugs! onto the engine!
    
    The Fan also works on a different regulartor that the VTR/Furio u can discounect this from the GTI fuse box and plug this into yours!
    
    About to finish the rewireing now! gota get the fking ball joints back into place on the HUBS!!
    
    also m8 if u want elp with the rewireing if u have to do it. it aint 2 hard most of it is the same apart from about 4-5 wires!
    
    The egnition / starter motor and ECU power is all the same place! i am yet 2 find out what the secend plug on the Loom is for as only 3 wires come from it. By looks of it. it could be a switch as the colures make it look 1 red 1 white 1 gold. 1 is power obviously and the other 2 would act as the switch! what it Switchs is an other matter! time will tell!
    
    Manifold/Exhaust/New brakes/ has to go back on ina min. Fingers X it will start!! lol!! if not im going down to Citreon 2morrow to buy a VTS loom of them or get them to rewire it for me!! lol!!
