bad alignment of angel eyes

i've posted this before within a thread, but i thought it might get more attention with its own thread.

i've had the ultra angel eyes now for about 18months and i love them. but the main beam really lets them down. the alignment just seams to be completely wrong.
instead of main beam lighting up everything in its path, it only lights up a very very narrow path. the light barely touches the white line down the middle of the road, and on the other side it barely touches the path.

the garage where i took my car for its first MOT with them on my car, said that they had alligned them for me. and since then, its passed a further MOT at a different garage.

i just dont believe that they are set up right! it is honestly completely impossible to drive down an unlit street using main beam as you just can not see.

are anybody else's like how i describe, or is it just mine?

    thanks a lot, matt

might help ig you post some pics of what you mean.

have you tried alining them yourself? if you drive up to a wall or something similar and then put your main beem. then you can adjust the angle if the lights with a small phillips screwdriver on the white box behind the headlight.
this is what i did with my standard ones and you can also adjust the hiegh of them with the roller in the car.

    hope that helps, rep??

    cheers guys

mark, the roller doesn't work with the angel eyes. but yeh, i've been meaning to adjust them myself and see how it goes. i was going to get my girlfriend to park the same distance from a wall as me and work from her lights to try and get mine.

Dan, i've put up with it for long enough now! i've decided its time for action! lol

erm, i had to adjust the alignment of mine when i fitted mine the other day! there are 3 bolts on the back of the angel eyes! one should say L <-> R and the other Up <-> Down! you need a 8mm spanner or socket to adjust them! mine worked ok after i had adjusted them!
