Just sorted out some springs for the front of my VTS, going down 55mm, and they've told me going that low i need to buy a modified track rod aswell, which is going to cost an extra 55 quid on top, is this nessercery? or am i being had, done a search and theres not much mentioned about it? Any help will be appreciated

#2As far as I know you don't need modified track rods, in fact I've not heard of them. Ask them where they are getting them from. They may be trying to slip you a length

#4£55 for some magical track rods ends that sounds like a bargain to me.

#5load of old shite, supposedly to stop the pas pipe rubbing. just bend it out the way.

#6the rod is from ABP,which is bent in the middle so it doesn't rub on the power steering pipe.
