Cams!

   Hi all! I have a MK2 VTR with a cat back magnex exhaust system and pipercross air filter. If i put on piper fast road cams and vernier pulleys will i see much of an increse in speed and BHP?

   You will need a remap, so the timing can be set up so the most gains are possible. Without the remap you will only see a very small gain. Nothing compared to having the ECU remapped.

   how much roughly will it cost to get it remapped and get the cams and vernier pulleys mate?

   it depends on what duration cam you get. With a 270 cam 120 bhp is on the cards maybe more and with a 285 I rekon you could be getting close to 130 bhp.

   ive got a mk2 vtr also, gettin cam next month when i get payed again, u rekon itwould run fine for a anuva month till i get payed again

   squils its one cam and one pulley, you want to get a manifold first befor hand aswell
   
   for cam, pulley mapped and fitted youll be looking at about 800
