Exhaust...

   Well some of you may know my exhaust has gone capish!
   
   as the CAT is in the manifold...if i was to just get a backbox would it sound any diff than a full system from the manifold?
   
   also any idea how much it may be for a new centre section?

   It depends on the make to be honest.
   
   eg. Brands like sportex and peco although not known for their High performance gains like say magnex but are known to have a louder note due to the way they are built (to be noisy). If you was to fit say the magnex you would probally find not much of a noise change.
   
   Take alook around, find the tailpipe shape and size you want buy your back box if you want it abit louder then keep the OE centre section if you want much louder lose the OE centre section with the box and get a straight through (no boxes)
   
   I have a Full Janspeed Manifold to tail pipe and was ver dissapointed with the lack of volume and after my MoT (end of Oct) Im changin to a straight through setup from the sports cat to back box

   yeh well i am having a new centre section fitted tomorrow (standard) which is a straight through. then get a backbox say of some kinda, magnex, piper, scorpion etc.
   
   so say if i fitted a scorpion backbox with my standard straight through centre section....would it make any difference from that to if i had a fitted an aftermarket straight through pipe?
