#2If its mapped then most people make 150-160bhp but it can vary drastically.
Edit I've just read it properly I dont know what effects superchips have on Saxo's most people shy away from them. -
#3how do u mean shy away from them?? do you think its worth doing?
-
#4superchips ---- no
remaps ---- yes -
#5okk cheers
-
#6depends largely on the cam. 155bhp likely with a remap and piper 285s
-
#7I was going to comment about the superchips issue, but the best piece of advice i can give you is........ listen to CampDavid he's a proper geek!
-
#8Thats a nice figure to be at 155bhp
-
#10lol cheers geeks and guys
-
#11I would stay away from superchips, never heard a good thing about them to be honest.

#12Quote:Hahahahahahahaha, you wouldn't know a proper geek if one came up to you and started quoting pythagoris!!
Some of the chaps on the SSC are vastly more knowledgable than me
When I get stuck I call the ginger Jesus
not sure what the hell you just said there, so im refusing to comment further until i have my lawyer and a dictionary present!!

#13my car is cammed, i had a 'super'chip, i then had it mapped..............
and what a waste of money a superchip is.
the difference from what it was to what it is now is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.
all a superchip does is advance your ignition timing and raise RPM slightly, nothing else.
