Air filters and induction kit

   Hello this is a bit saxo related but isnt really saxo related i remove a old enclosed carbon fibre induction kit from my vtr and since fitted it to a mates mr2 turbo it sounds really good and seems to perform well with this filter but we were concerned to weather it would be rated high enough for this kind of air flow can anyone shine any light on this thanks.

   I'm shooting in the dark here, but on a forced induction car I'd be after a larger filter (to be precise, large Filteration Area) so that the over all restriction is less on the intake. And therefore the losses are less

   Yeah its fairly large it was big for the saxo really, but the boost seems to be getting up well on the car and it seems to be running well with, all round air flow seems to be alot better cause it has quite a large carbon housing

   Sounds cool man.
   
   I'd check to see what is recommended (or available in standard induction kit form) to see if the size is enough... you never know there could be more to come from the engine
