#2You can just swap the springs and use the original shocks and adjust the torsion bars using the original dampers. altho it isnt recommend, as the damper rates are being altered and the handling will be shite.
-
#3eibachs are standard spring rate, also the rear spring rate doesnt change unless you fit thicker bars.
so it will eb ok to lower it on standard dampers and eibach springs. -
#4Arent the damper rates changed in the shocks tho with it bein lower??
-
#5no, dampers put a resisting force on movement if you know what i mean, it doenst matter what point in their travel they are at.
obviously though if you go too low they can bottom out. -
#6ok cheers for the help, so do you recon go for it then, i fort it mite put a strain on the rear, would the handerlin b shite? its got to be better than wot it is now thou
-
#7yes it will be ok. eibach are a good spring to use with standrad dampers.
-
#8I understand, i'll just shut ma trap now then.
-
#10what i said but in a more complex way

#11so ur saying is mr damper doesnt like mrs spring having any freedom? But mrs spring loves to go shoppping?Quote:a dampers job is to reduces the osciallations of the spring - the aim being to bring the the spring to rest before completing a single oscilation - i.e. critically damped.

Why didnt you just say so then!
