When i fill up with petrol, the right hand side of my car sits lower than the left. Now i have had the car lowered, but the rear is still on standard shocks! would it make any difference if i uprated the shocks to aftermarket ones, and in doing this would the car sit more level!! as its about an inch and a half out and very noticable!!
not sitting level!

#2It could be that when the rear was lowered it was not lowered level and when you fill her up it is more noticable. I would not have thought your shocks would make any major difference to the car sitting un-level more the way its lowered.
I could be wrong though, when mine was un-level me mate reckoned that the torsion bar was not cranked down as much one side as the other -
#3its ok when the tanks empty, just leans to one side when its full!
-
#4shocks shouldn’t make a difference. they don’t determine the ride height. its the torsion bar that determines the ride height. shocks just absorb or reduce vibrations and movement to make the ride smoother.

#5perhaps the bearings in a trailing arm are on the way out, jack it up and see how much play there is in the rear wheels arms
probs not that but just a thought -
#6anyone heard of H & R rear shocks?? if so..... are they any good?
-
#8they are good and they won't help.
Is the wheel at an angle a bit? Radius arm bearing if so -
#9filling up with fuel shouldnt really make that much difference fuel should be evenly distrubited over the rear end
most probally torsion bar -
#10I bet you've had it lowered 2 clicks on the torsion bar - am I right?
-
#11Sounds nasty bud, sounds like you need to get the torsion bar/rear beam inspected.
As mentioned above, cant be your shock absorbers. -
#13have you checked the rear arm for any play yet?

#14mines the same mate. dont worry about it!
